Apply for driving license online – 

  • Go to the website ”parivahan.gov.in”, Parivahan Seva-Government of India, Ministry of road transport and highways.
  • Select the option ‘’Online Services’’ and then choose ‘’Driving License-Related Services’’ from the drop-down menu.
  • You will get a page with various options including ”Apply Learner License” or ”Apply driving license”.

Select the one and go on with form filling, uploading required documents and verification procedure.

Apply for driving license offline – 

  • To apply offline you have to visit the RTO-Regional Transport Office.
  • There, ask for Form 4 which is the application form for motor vehicle driving license in India. You can also download it from the state transport website.
  • Fill the application form with complete and accurate answers, then submit it with required documents.
  • You will get a slot for a driving license test by paying a certain amount of fees at the RTO office.
  • Once you clear the driving test on the scheduled date, soon after you will get the driving license on the spot or sent to the registered address.
