Weekends are spent with family and friends to get relaxation from our workspace. We feel fresh and energetic after spending time. We can go for an adventure or a picnic spot so that the kids will also enjoy it. We want a hill station in this climate that looks fantastic from the top of the mountains and the fog. There are beautiful spots in Baltimore which are suitable to go for a family trip.
So now we would look into some places which are very beautiful and different for a weekend getaway such as: –
THURMONT: – It is a small town in Baltimore in the Catoctin Mountains. This place is full of nature which looks very beautiful and a park and the falls. It is an excellent place for a family getaway spot, especially when we are traveling with kids. We also have a wildlife Zoo and visit a safari ride where the animals are kept open, and the bus is covered so that the animals would not harm us.
HARPERS FERRY: -As Baltimore is a beautiful city, we visited many fantastic places, and we never felt like returning from those places. Here two rivers meet each other, and it is also called a historical place as the view was magnificent and the water was very pure, and we enjoyed seeing the sights, clicking pictures with the family.
BETHANY BEACH: – Beaches are the best places most of them prefer to visit, we have rented rooms nearby. We can stay here, and the room charges are at a limited cost, so by staying here, we can see the sunset, sunrise and ride till the middle of the beach, skydiving …Etc. They took us inside the water world where we saw varieties of fishes and enjoyed a lot. It was a beautiful place to visit.
SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK: – This place is good to travel to on a bike because there is a lot of beauty in nature to see and we will never get bored of traveling to such places. It is full of wildflowers in the spring season, but we have to climb mountain trails on a bike to see the full view from the top, which looks beautiful, and there is a waterfall also. We had stayed for a night because it was not safe traveling at night; we had made a tent and enjoyed a bonfire. It was superb in this park.
ESCAPE ROOM IN BALTIMORE: Escape the Life – This escape room was about the live actors who made us feel that we are really into that world. We came here with our family, and we had to get separated into two groups. This game tested our solving skills; we solved it and went out of the room within 40 minutes, and it was good to experience this new type of game. The objects and the whole environment and decoration were made to look like they were out of this world.
The weekend planning was good with the family, and we had a lovely time and felt relaxed and refreshed because everyone needs a break. We can’t work the whole time so it is better to go for a holiday and have great fun and enjoy those lovely moments with the family.
