Toner can smear or not fix the Page.

Paper Jams

There are many causes for paper jam, including paper jammed: a torn piece of paper, a paper tray that is not right, a paper type that is wrong, a loose paper roller or dust. Look carefully at the exit of your print paper as well as the paper tray. You should remove any paper pieces stuck inside the paper tray. You should ensure that the paper tray holds the correct paper type as it is indicated in the control panel.
It will cause a paper jam issue. You must ensure that the paper type matches what you have set up in your printer properties. If the printer properties do not match what you have selected, make sure to correct it. Also, ensure the printer prints to a correct paper tray. Failure to do so can lead to paper jams. Windows sends print orders to the wrong printer
This happens when Windows randomly selects a printer as its default printer. Windows 7 users should click the Start Button and point to Devices and Printers. You’ll see a list of printers under Printers and Faxes. Right-click the printer you desire and select Set as default printer. If asked to confirm, click Set as default printer. Restart the computer and printer. Print a page, then check it again. Windows should print to an appropriate printer.
Window XP users can click the Start Button and point to Control Panel. Double-click Hardware Sound and Printers. Click on the printer you wish for default. Then, right-click on it and select Set as Default Printer.
Spooler service ceases to work
This is yet another problem with HP printers. To resolve this problem, click on the Start button. Enter services.msc’ (without the quotes) into the Run dialog box. This will take to the Services window. Find Print Spooler in the left-hand sidebar. Right-click it and select Restart. If prompted, confirm the action. The Services window will close. If prompted, restart your computer. Test a printed page once you have completed the process.

Printouts that are too light have spots

Error Message 10
The error indicates that the Supplies Memory Error is occurring. It could be due to a number of factors, depending on your HP printer model. You can fix the problem by turning off your printer, and then unplugging the printer from the power supply. Allow the printer to cool down for about 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.
