Okay? The Vita version sold more than PSO2 Meseta version. The Steam variant sold more in 1 week than the PS2 version that even Sega stated they were surprised by the selling numbers, so they are now going to port more matches over to the PC, which proves that his point further. They never ported matches over, because they thought it’d sell like shit, but the show is much more popular than they though.
I am new to PSO2, however I’m an avid mmo player trying out any I can get my hands on and I can’t stop praising this game and just how amazing and fun it seems. There anything about this game which clicks, it has this mmo feel but is the ideal ways.
The atmosphere of the game is great also. The audio is A+, event like pressing pursuit give the game a great feel being told to return to do them and look the playground bright red and everyone gathering. The story while not for everyone, I certainly appreciated it and it gets the NPCs feel more memorable, I remember a lot of them and also their character cause of it.
The games will have its flaws though, the render space drives me nuts, so the menus took time to get used to and had to do a great deal of research to determine how to do what and where to find certain things.
Overall for an 8 year-old f2p mmo is really holds nicely, I got two 50+ characters now hoping to reach the point I can start farming equipment like nemesis/slave hopefully that the grind does not take away the pleasure from it lol.
A bunch overall. F2P is a massive portion of the business of Sega. So about 1/3 of Sega’s gaming revenue for the quarter came from F2P. This last quarter (Apr – June) PSO2 NA was their sole F2P Release, that made it easy to realize how much $ PSO2 NA made. They normally do not violate these #s out, but it was neat to see PSO2 NA out made PSO2 JP this quarter.
Edit: Removed from the yen figure. Im more than pleased to have purchased about 50k AC and 6k SG within 1 month, will and likely will do it again because PSO2 is just amazing. The Tweaker team should receive a part of their revenue because without them the NA PC version would have lost tons of players.
