Rocket League Will Feature Hot Wheels-Licensed Die-Cast Vehicles

Rocket League has maintained its status as one of the most played video games on both consoles and personal computers more than 18 months after its initial release. Its consistent post-launch support, which has enabled a range of new methods for players to enjoy the game, is partially responsible for some of this success. This trend will continue this month with the announcement of one of the most significant agreements in the history of the game.

In the month of February, a Rocket League Hot Wheels bundle will become available for purchase. It will come with the Bone Shaker as well as the Twin Mill III, which are two of the most famous die-cast automobiles. Both will have access to a unique roster of six different decals to customize their vehicles with. Additionally, the Hot Wheels pack will provide all gamers access to free content, which will include two toppers and an antenna.

Psyonix, the company that created Rocket League, has said that the game’s vehicles are enormous RC cars measuring a few feet in length. This would explain both their remarkable agility and acceleration, but it wouldn’t really fit the concept of what Hot Wheels is about. More than twenty-four different racing video games have used the Hot Wheels name, with the most current one being Hot Wheels Showdown for mobile devices.
