Certified Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is a credential that is a response to management’s ever-growing complexity, growth, and diversity. It is widely recognized and sought-after, and the PMI-RMP fulfills the requirement for a specialist job in managing risk for projects. It acknowledges your competence and experience in assessing and identifying risks, reducing threats, and maximizing opportunities, and yet possessing the fundamental skills across all aspects of project administration.

With your expertise in the field of risk management, it can perform specific tasks that are adapted to the requirements of a working environment that is becoming increasingly virtual, global, and complicated.

Being recognized as a PMI-RMP makes you stand out from other professionals and adds honour to your business. Eighty-three percent of companies that perform well in project management employ risk management often, while only 49 percent of those who perform poorly practice it. The practice results in an excellent return on investment: high performers achieve their objectives 2.5 times more frequently and spend 13 times less than those who perform poorly, as demonstrated by the 2015 Pulse report. PMI-RMP Certification Benefits

  1. To increase my success rate. What’s the rate of success for your project for your company. Be 30 percent or 5 Percent. Project risk management provides you with the ability to detect and evaluate risks, reduce risks, and take advantage of opportunities. Thus, you can increase your chances of success.
  2. To assist my organization in risk management from top to the bottom. I was the director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for a large insurance firm. Our ERM policies and procedures were mostly from what I’d discovered about risk management during my time as PMP and PMI RMP. Risk management is always about the identification, evaluation, and response to risks and monitoring of the risks. Furthermore, these processes may be applied at different levels of an organization–enterprise, departments or business units, portfolios, programs, and projects.
  3. To broaden my career options. If you’ve been on the job market for project managers lately, you’ve noticed an abundance of employers seeking an experienced project manager. A second certification can provide the project manager with a broader selection of possibilities, it’s similar to having an extra major. The most notable thing is that survey results show that certified project managers earn more lucrative salaries than uncertified project managers.
  4. To sharpen my saw. The world becomes dull when we’re not discovering new things. I love sharpening my saws physically, socially as well as spiritually. The PMI-RMP was a rewarding and challenging experience that allowed me to grow professionally.
  5. To increase my knowledge and experience. Every time we put into the development of ourselves through focusing on our work is time well-spent. Therefore, we’ll become better at what we do. Learning and applying the principles of risk management has helped me to learn useful tips tools, methods, and tools.
