Our Sharpedge brand Lance Tip knives are manufactured using imported surgical grade stainless steel material. Depending on the incision required they are available in different sizes (15 Degree, 30 Degree and 45 Degree). This gives the surgeon the flexibility to choose the appropriate size that suits his/her surgical technique. Lance tip knives are further available in various options like Classicline, Primeline, Slimline, Fineline and Safeline based on the form of stainless steel material used.

Classicline knives are made from stainless steel strips traditionally known as Flat Stock knives. Classicline offers a good sturdy feel. The Lance tip knives in Classicline are only available in the 15 degree variant.

Primeline knives are made from stainless steel wires of different gauges traditionally known as Round Stock knives. They are sharper and finer compared to Classicline and they offer better maneuverability and visibility. The Lance tip knives in Primeline are made from 24 gauge wires. They are available in the 15 degree, 30 degree and 45 degree variants.

Slimline knives are made from finer, pre-hardened stainless steel strips. The handles are designed in such a way that they considerably reduce the use of stainless steel material. Slimeline offers best value for money. Lance tip knives in Slimline are available in the 15 degree variant offering incision sizes of 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm.

Fineline knives use the same stainless steel material as the Slimline knives. However, they use the straight handle design. Fineline knives offer a similar cutting performance as the Slimline knives, but offer better maneuverability and visibility. Lance tip knives in Fineline are only available in the 15 degree variant.

Safeline knives are a step up from Primeline knives, they are made from stainless steel wires of different gauges. Safeline knives are made using grinderless-technology, hence offering consistent cutting performance. The matt finish on these knives reduces the glare from the knives during the surgery. They also come with a nifty safety feature on their handle that reduces the chances of sharp injuries during use. Lance tip knives in Safeline are only available in the 15 degree variant.

Most of our lance tip knives are available in straight, angled right, angled left versions.
