A new company mission and vision were launched this month by Macmillan Learning, supported by our core values. We work by them, live by them, and abide by them, and they are a reflection of the values that guide us in our daily work.

We are each committed to the work we do at Macmillan Learning because we made decisions that lead us here. We envision a world where every student succeeds as a result of the choices we make. Our choices lead us to a vision for the future that is astonishing to think about, yet within our collective grasp:

Success is Often Defined by What’s Possible,

However, what’s possible is not an easy measure, nor is it conferred upon us by others; rather, it is up to the individual, as part of a family or group, as part of what citizenship means in a world heavily influenced by educational opportunities. Our mission inspires what’s possible for every learner, so living it meaningfully affects our individual and collective futures.

The ability to learn makes things possible; I believe it holds the potential to make everything possible. Learning can be applied to the workplace, the classroom, remotely, or via online engagement, enabling learners to discover new, meaningful possibilities. Whether you’re a first-year student beginning a career in education or a Macmillan Learning team member invested in helping others, it’s true. In addition, we each join every learner on their journey by living the values we hold dear.

Macmillan Learning’s Real Definition is:

Students can read, study, practice, and complete assignments through Macmillan Learning. Students’ assignments, grades, and homework can be integrated with Macmillan Learning content using this LTI, making access and grading easier for students and instructors.

Using technology and world-class content, Macmillan Learning combines science, math, statistics, social sciences, and the humanities to drive student success. Our mission at Macmillan Education is to provide a  better platform than we found it by advancing our learning and sharing our knowledge all across the world. One of our major aims is to minimize the environmental footprint, promote inclusion and diversity, and positively affect the communities we serve. More than 97,000 textbooks were donated to most of the schools and universities in low-income countries in 2019, as we minimized the use of plastic in our teaching materials.
