Our Sharpedge brand Crescent knives are manufactured using imported surgical grade stainless steel material. They offer size options ranging from 1.0mm to 2.6mm. This gives the surgeon the flexibility to choose the appropriate size that suits his/her surgical technique. Crescent knives are further available in various options like Classicline, Primeline, Slimline, Fineline and Safeline based on the form of stainless steel material used.

Classicline knives are made from stainless steel strips traditionally known as Flat Stock knives. Classicline offers a good sturdy feel. The Crescent knives in Classicline are available in 1.0mm and 2.6mm variants. The most popular 2.6mm Classicline Crescent knife has a 2.0mm crescent shaped tip that tapers out to 2.6mm.

Primeline knives are made from stainless steel wires of different gauges traditionally known as Round Stock knives. They are sharper and finer compared to Classicline and they offer better maneuverability and visibility. The Crescent knives in Primeline are available in the 1.25mm, 2.1mm, 2.2mm and 2.6mm variants. The most popular 2.6mm Primeline Crescent knife has a 2.2mm crescent shaped tip that tapers out to 2.6mm.

Slimline knives are made from finer, pre-hardened stainless steel strips. The angled polycarbonate handle design is the identity of Slimline knives. Since the angulation is given in the handle we are able to considerably reduce the use of stainless steel material. Slimeline offers best value for money. The Crescent knives in Slimline are available in the 2.3mm and 2.6mm variant. The most popular 2.6mm Slimline Crescent knife has a 2.2mm crescent shaped tip that tapers out to 2.6mm.

Fineline knives use the same stainless steel material as the Slimline knives. However, they use the straight handle design and the angulation is given in the blade tip. Fineline knives offer a similar cutting performance as the Slimline knives, but offer better maneuverability and visibility. The Crescent knives in Fineline are available in the 2.2mm and 2.6mm variants. The most popular 2.6mm Fineline Crescent knife has a 2.2mm crescent shaped tip that tapers out to 2.6mm.

Safeline knives are a step up from Primeline knives, they are made from stainless steel wires of different gauges. Safeline knives are made using grinderless-technology, hence offering consistent cutting performance. The matt finish on these knives reduces the glare from the knives during the surgery. They also come with a nifty safety feature on their handle that reduces the chances of sharp injuries during use. The Crescent knives in Safeline are only available in the 2.6mm variant. Safeline Crescent knife has a 2.2mm crescent shaped tip that tapers out to 2.6mm.

Most of our crescent knives are available in straight single bevel, straight bi-bevel, angled (55 degree) bevel up, angled (55 degree) bevel down and angled (55 degree) bi-bevel versions.
